White Chandelier

I'm back! Sorry it has taken me so long to post, we have been busy with lots of birthdays and family in town. I have been busy working on lots of projects and collecting new finds. Tomorrow I am going to show you some of the many wonderful things I have found on my recent thrifting excursions. Here is one that I found at one of our local thrift stores. This chandelier was $4 and just the perfect size for the top of my stairs. It did need some new paint and some shades to dress it up a bit.

These shades were $1, so for $5 plus some spraypaint I have a new light!  To me, it changes the whole look of the area.  I have to take a picture of the whole space so you can see what I mean.

I'm thinking about lining the shades with some fun black and white scrapbook paper but I haven't got that far yet. If I decide to do it I will post some more pictures!

Your light looks great! I think the black and white would be perfect but I am partial to B & W at the moment. xx

Very cute! White spray paint is magic in a bottle.

Thank you! I've got a thing for black and white too :) It's amazing what a little spraypaint will do!

Where did you get the shades? I've been looking everywhere and they are all so expensive! I think it looks great. The chandelier has nice simple lines. :)
