Today I'll be sharing a little bit of my home, updated for spring, as a part of the Blogger Stylin' Home Tours spring edition. A huge thank you to Lindsay for putting this tour together. If you haven't been following along, be sure to start here and work your way through the tours. I know you'll be inspired! If you are coming over from House Seven, welcome, I'm so glad you have taken the time to stop by.
Let's get started!
I'm always so drawn to lucite/acrylic and was so surprised to find this tray at Hobby Lobby. They have really had some great home decor items lately.
I'm still loving the green x benches I found at Target a few months ago. The green and floral pattern screams spring to me!
I also added a framed green leaf print I found at Goodwill and a small little gold hummingbird (?) I picked up at a yardsale.
My mom recently gave us this black sofa table and it's a perfect fit.
My DIY Ballard inspired clamshell is still going strong.
I spruced up our entry with some simple DIY abstract art that I created for the Home Depot style challenge.
I also added some new pillows to my office. I love their great texture and the white makes everything feel a little brighter. And the best part is I found them at Goodwill for $3.99 each. They were brand new Nate Berkus pillows from Target!
Our playroom feels ready for spring with the recent addition of a few floral pillows
and this DIY birdcage light.
Our guest room is pretty much a blank slate, but I added some floral pillows to make it feel a little more pulled together. The fabric was a remnant that I found at Goodwill. Most of the time the fabric section there is a bust, full of ratty sheets and 80's comforters, but sometimes I come across something good so I always skim through it.
And lastly our bedroom feels spring ready with the small addition of some fresh flowers. Sometimes that's all it takes to brighten up a room.
Hope you enjoyed the tour! Be sure to check out tomorrow's tours starting with Inspired by Charm. He always has something good up his sleeve!
