Day Date Inspiration

My husband and I enjoyed a much needed day date this past Friday.  It was such a fun day and of course I found a little design inspiration along the way.

We started our day off at The Original Pancake House, one of my absolute favorite places to eat breakfast.  If you have one near you, you definitely must try it.  Anyways, they had some great burlap sack artwork up on the wall.  I snapped a picture so I could file it away for future reference.  So simple and so cool.

We headed to Marshalls to spend our Christmas gift cards and then on to West Elm for a little more inspiration...

Book pages are all the rage...

I almost bought one of these store display cardboard chandeliers for $20, but my husband-the voice of reason, assured me I didn't need it and he's probably right, but isn't it cool?

Love this!  Thinking about doing it in my booth :)

They have so many great hanging light fixtures and their prices are pretty reasonable.

We made a few more stops along the way at some thrift stores and consignment shops in search of a new dining room table, but turned up empty handed.  We ended the day with dinner at another one of our favorite places to eat, Bonefish.  After that we headed to our friends' home to bring in the new year!  It was a great day!  I hate to be a tease, but I found something really cool that day that I will reveal in a future post!  :)
