Look what I found!

I found this chair today at the Goodwill for $4.99 today. I love the lines of it and I think it has so much potential. I have seen so many blogs recently with people reupholstering chairs and have been waiting for the perfect chair to try it out on. I'm very intimidated by it, but even if I totally mess it up I'm still only out $5.

I'm dreaming it will become one of these beauties... (fingers crossed :)

What a gorgeous chair and what a great price! Good luck with you project, I am interested to see how you go and what you think, as I admit I am also a bit unsure of whether I would be able to do a good job on a chair like that! xx

OK - I just strolled through your blog- you have an amazing Goodwill shop! It seems that everything at our thrift stores are over-priced!

Can't wait to see what you come up with.

ok...i want to live in your town. i make a couple trips a week to two different goodwill stores here in tucson and there prices are no where near what you get. that chair would have cost $49.99 at my goodwill store. in fact today i happened upon a couple of glass frames that i bought at the dollar tree for $1...guess how much goodwill wanted for them...$1.99! urgh!!! but your redos are fabulous...just happened upon you yesterday and spent at least 2 hours perusing your site. love it all!!!

Hi, first time stopping by (via Better After.) I did my first chair reupholstering last summer. It was a lot of work, but like you, I used an old chair. Like you said, for the price you paid, you can't lose.

I am completely smitten with the yellow and white chair found at Decor Pad. Gorg-e-ous! Good luck and have fun. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
