Faux succulent arrangment

I picked up this gold bowl during the Target clearance a few weeks ago.  I think I paid around $5.  The reflective gold finish just drew me to it.  I also thought it would be perfect for a little faux succulent arrangement.
It's still available online here, but it's not on sale at all.  Still not a terrible price, but not five bucks.

I added a few river rocks that I had in my decor stash.  You can find them at pretty much any craft store.

I picked up these faux succulent stems at Hobby Lobby when they went on sale.  Most of them look very realistic.   I think it would be pretty with a little moss mixed in there too.

I stuck the stem part into the rocks and voila a super easy succulent arrangement that you don't have to worry about watering or taking care of.  I know people say real succulents are low maintenance, but somehow I managed to kill two of them.  I'll stick with the fakes for now.

Happy Weekend!

Super cute Bethany :) I almost grabbed that bowl, but I went with the Nate Berkus gold dipped one. I love succulents! xo Kristin

I bought the bowl too. Love your succulent arrangement in it. I might have to go faux too since I ruined my real ones ;)

Perfect considering I killed all of my real ones. Urgh!

It's amazing to me how real faux succulents can look! I guess if you look at them up close, maybe people could tell, but from your pictures? No one would ever guess. And they look great in the bowl. I'll be on the lookout for that the next time I stop by Target. Thanks for sharing!
