Pillows

One of the most common questions I get asked about my home is where I purchased the pillows in my bedroom.  The gray ones came from Homegoods, I made the yellow ones out of some remnant fabric from Hancock fabrics, and the yellow and gray one came from Target.  Since these items aren't available anymore I thought I'd do a quick roundup of some great yellow and gray pillow options out there.

You can always count on Zgallerie for some great pillows

Overstock has stepped it up lately in the pillow department as well

and of course there's always Etsy

and a little more on the pricey side, Trina Turk has some fabulous pillows

love love this pillow from Target and you can't beat the $12.99 price tag!

and some of my favorites are from dwell studio

Do you love a great pillow as much as I do?  A great patterned pillow can be a jumping off point for the design of a whole room.  Even if you just purchase one great patterned pillow and gather other solid pillows in varying textures and colors that are less expensive you can create a designer look for less.

I too have a slight pillow obsession! However, I have a different question for you. I'm trying to put a guest room together with greys, navy and white, and I love the grey blanket on your bed in your profile picture. Do you remember where that came from? Thanks, DeDe

Tara, I would have definitely had to stock up on some pillows if I came across that kind of deal! :) DeDe, I purchased that at Marshall's, it's a duvet cover.

while not on the topic of pillows, it is in regards to your canopy you created and the previous post on how you made it. (i've seen this comment on multiple posts but you haven't answered so im hoping you do here!) with the four panels you drape, it looks as if the ceiling rod has the drapes looped through but it also looks the same for the rod attached to the wall. did you sew additional loops to secure it to the rod on the wall or are there separate panels on both rods? thank you!
