Just the after...

I hate it when I forget to take "before" pictures, but alas this is the case with this chair.  I guess I just got too excited to get started on it and forgot to get a pic.  It had been sitting in my garage crying out for some attention for way too long.  I had no room in my house for it, but knew it would go well in our new booth.  So, I snatched up some great remnant fabric at Hancock Fabrics and painted the chair a nice gray.  The stool had also been sitting in my garage for quite some time.  I really wish I had a before picture of this because it was just terrible, a DIY project gone wrong.  Someone had reupholstered it using a hot glue gun.  Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for hot glue but not in this case.  On top of all that, it was covered in a hideous green velvet fabric.  My description does not do it justice.  So, imagine the before and now look at the AFTER!!

I added this wooden embellishment from Lowe's because before it looked just a little too plain...

and one of my favorite parts is the bottom of this stool, go figure it's the part you never see ;)  It just looked like a mess with the leftover remnants of hot glue from the previous project, so I covered it in a fun coordinating fabric.
