Indoors out again...

I'm wrapping up our backyard makeover.  I mentioned in a previous post that I'm trying to bring the indoors out and make it more like an outdoor living space.  So, I found this great dresser at Goodwill.  I was drawn to the chunky drawer pulls.  I knew it would make a perfect buffet table for our backyard.  Keep in mind, I like the weathered, worn look.  I know with it being outdoors in the elements it will get a little more weathered and I'm ok with that.  I did seal it with several coats of polyurethane.  Another thing you may want to consider if you do this is to buy a piece that is solid wood, no veneer.  The veneer will warp and look awful in no time.

Here is the before....

and AFTER!  I used a teal-blue paint, did some distressing, and then went over the whole thing with a dark stain to give it that aged look.

This is amazing! You did such a great job with this! What really caught my eye, however, were the branches in the vase in the last photo. They are exactly what I've been looking for! Would you mind sharing where you bought those?

Love your buffet! The color is amazing and you did an awesome job on your distressing and antiquing. I found you on All Things Thrifty as well. I have to ask, where did you find your wheels on the bottom of the buffet?

I'm doing something similar and I'm curious as to what the inside of the drawers look like? (I was going to ask what the inside of your drawers look like but that didn't sound right, lol).
