A little side table

I found this table and loved the lines of it. It just needed a little love. After some sanding, priming, and painting it has a whole new look! I'm thinking about starting a furniture business on the side because I'm running out of room in my house for all the great things I have found! This is going to be one of the first things that I am going to sell so we'll see how it goes... :)

I also found this mirror and thought something about it was just so cute. If you look closely you can see where the previous owner decided to just paint the frame with the mirror still in it and so there is a good bit of paint on the edge of the mirror. Thankfully it was just latex paint so I scraped it off and gave it a fresh coat of paint (without the mirror in it this time.)

and my favorite part, AFTER!

I did a little distressing too, just to give it some more dimension and character...

i. love. this. table. how COOL, i've never seen anything like it with the latticed sides! and it's funny you mention starting a furniture business, because your house just can't contain all the cool stuff you've bought and revamped - i've had the same thought :) wouldn't that just be the best job?

Thank you! That was one of the things I loved about it too! Having a furniture business would be awesome, hopefully I will be able to do that one day. It wouldn't even seem like work because I love to do it so much!

I know I'm really late on this comment, but I just came across your blog and I'm looking at everything I can...

I have two dressers that look exactly like that! That's so funny. They have been in my family for years.. and I'm getting ready to re-do them myself.
