It's hard to believe that it's already time to start thinking about Valentine's day! Today I'm participating in a fun blog hop hosted by Jamie from C.R.A.F.T. If you're visiting from Emily's blog 52 mantels, welcome, I'm so glad you're here!
We all chose a clever Valentine's phrase that we could incorporate into our valentine. For my valentine I went with the phrase, "You're just my type."
To download the above printable go here. I also did a black and white version that you can download here. That way you can print it out on pretty much any color paper that you want.
I also made a few bag toppers that would be really fun for kids to take to school and share with friends. I used the same printable above, but just resized it to fit on standard sandwich bags. You can download it here. I printed it on pink card stock to make it more festive, but you could do any color. To continue with the theme, I filled the bags with letter and number cookies. I found these at Target. Trader Joe's used to have the cutest alphabet cookies, but sadly my store didn't have them anymore. You could also do alphabet gummies if you wanted something different.
I cut the printable down to size, folded it and stapled it to the sides of the bag. I really like using zippered sandwich bags because you can seal them to keep the contents fresh.
I'm giving these to my nephews.
To keep the fun going be sure to check out Caitlin's valentine at Desert Domicile. She always has the best ideas!
