Family Tree Ornaments

When I first came across these mini frames at Goodwill I knew I could find a use for them.  I remember seeing them as a kid with different framed needle point patterns in them which could be cool but isn't exactly my style.

I thought it would be fun to fill them with family pictures from past Christmases and use them as ornaments on our tree.

I used some really old pictures from my husband's side of the family.

and some from my childhood, this one is me (on the left) and my sister (on the right) as kids.

and I love this one of my brother.

and of course I had to throw a few of the little one in there.  I made all the pictures black and white for a more cohesive look.

I ended up buying twelve total and filling them all with photos and scattering them throughout the tree.   I like to call it our family tree.  :)  I'll be sharing more of my Christmas tree during the Blogger Stylin' Home Tours next week.  I'm so excited to be sharing my home alongside some amazingly talented bloggers and friends!
