A look around Garden Ridge

Garden Ridge is one of those places that's totally hit or miss.  You can find some great things, but you usually have to dig.  I stopped by there the other day after hearing they had some clearance marked down to 90% off.  One of my favorite things they sell is their mirrors.  Most of them are really reasonably priced too.  I snapped a few pictures of my favorites.

I'm not crazy about the finish on this one (It's a little rustic for my taste) but I really love the shape and chunkiness of it.

They have some other nice items that are worth checking out.  Lots of good baskets at reasonable prices.

And just about any white porcelain animal you could imagine.  What is it about painting an animal glossy white that makes it look so good?

And these enormous letters would be so fun in a nursery or playroom.

And I did find a few things in the 90% off section.

This lamp was originally $40, I got it for $4.

This mirror was originally $30, I got it for $3.

I also grabbed a few metal locker baskets for around $1/each.  They are bright purple, but a little spray paint will have them looking better in no time.  I found a few barrel shades for $2/each.  They have a really funky pattern on them, but with some new fabric they'll be perfect.
