If you follow me on instagram (dwellingsbydevore) some of this is old news, but I thought I'd share a few things I've come across lately and a few good deals.
These service bells were huge. They were at homegoods, by the register where they put all the fun stuff. I almost convinced myself I needed one. Who couldn't use an oversized bell? I wish I had put something beside it so you could see the scale, they were definitely super sized which is part of what made them so appealing.
Also at Homegoods, I hit the clearance section at the right time and grabbed this set of three Kate Spade prints for $2. The retail price on the back was $45. I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I'm framing the "Join The Circus" print for my daughter's room. I just love the gold foil.
Then at Target these tables are only $7.50! Wouldn't they look great with the legs spraypainted gold? Someone commented that they are a little on the short side, but I guess it could work for a low profile sofa or bed.
And these storage ottomans were around $10. The black ones are really versatile and could look great under a console in an entryway.
These stools also caught my eye because they would be so easy to makeover and they were cheap too.
I made a quick stop into Goodwill and came across this Baby Gap jacket for my baby girl. It looks brand new! There are many times when I walk out of there empty handed which is why I was so happy to come across this gem.
I ran into IKEA today to grab some RITVA curtains, they really are the best, and spied a few things. First, this basket for $9.99. You can probably tell from the picture, but it's not the sturdiest. However, I think it would make a really fun light fixture. Just turn it upside and add a light kit.
I also really liked these cabinets, especially that minty green one in the middle...
And lastly, I've finally finished this dresser. I thought it would be a great idea to strip it, which never turns out the way I hope it will. I have these visions of the finish just scraping right off, but that's never really the way it goes, is it? Anyways, it's painted and done now. I just have to stage it and take some pictures. I'll be sharing the "after" soon!
