Ants in my pants

I'm getting ants in my pants to redesign just about every room in my house, ever feel that way?  I just get tired of things or what to rearrange.  My husband is going to roll his eyes when he reads this (hopefully he won't), but sometimes you just need a little change.  I've been on a major cleaning/reorganizing the house surge lately, I never really had that "nesting" feeling they say you get when you are pregnant, but I'm making up for it now!  My goal is to spruce up things I already own or pull things from the garage and repurpose them.  I started cleaning out the garage yesterday and realized just how much stuff I have collected that I need to purge.  Most of it will end up in my booth once it gets a mini makeover, but I'm thinking I can use some of it to help me update things without spending much money.  One room I'm itching to redo is the powder room.  I don't hate the color but I'm not in love with it either, just kind of over it, bored with it.  I'm thinking a quick coat of paint, a mirror from the garage, and some new artwork and it could look awesome.  Now, what color??  I would love to do some fun wallpaper in there but it's just not in the budget right now.  I've thought about doing a stencil, but not sure I have it in me to do the whole bathroom.  I'll probably end up getting inspired by some oops paint.  I would love to do black, but I think one black bathroom is enough for a house.  So, I'm thinking maybe navy? green? any ideas?  I'd love to do something different with the lighting instead of the typical light above the mirror, maybe two sconces?  maybe a chandelier?

These powder rooms are inspiring me to make a change...

love the use of the full length mirror in this one...

we have a pedestal sink in there now, may have to make a fun skirt to dress it up...

Happy Friday!!
