Oh Fiddle Leaf

I finally got a fiddle leaf fig tree!  I have been wanting one for my office for the longest time and finally found one at a local nursery.

ignore the blue plate underneath it, it's just temporary until I can find one of those things that keeps the water from going everywhere.

I'm just hoping it doesn't end up like my last plant...

yes, I killed a succulent.  The plants that are impossible to kill.  I mentioned this to the lady at the nursery and she assured me I would be fine.  She said Fiddle Leaf Figs thrive on neglect, I can do neglect.

and in other office news, I found this awesome lavender ginger jar at Goodwill for $2.99.  It goes perfectly in the office.

Ahh! Good luck. I don't know whats happening to mine. The leaves are getting brown spots and falling. I put it out in the sun today to see if it helps. Good luck.

My grandmother once gave me a plant which she said I could not kill and it was dead within a month, so I feel your pain! Good luck!

Get out of here!! I've been on the search for a Fiddle Leaf for my living room to neglect as well. They are so unique looking.

Hi! I live in Charlotte too and have been looking for one of these gorgeous plants! Do you mind sharing which nursery you found it at? Thanks so much :)

I bought 2 at Home Depot at the beginning of summer for 9.99. Still going strong and twice the size. Every now and then I put it outside for a week to get lots of sunlight.

Same question! Where did you find your fiddle leaf fig? I've been shopping Home Depot, Lowes, IKEA and nurseries in Charlotte and can't find them!

I got it at a place called Christy's nursery in Concord but sadly this tree has already died. My hubby bought me a new one last weekend at IKEA though for only $12.99 so I would check there again!
