Seltzer Soap Pump

So today I need your help, thoughts, input on this little seltzer bottle I found.  I actually bought several because they were such an amazing deal and sold the rest in my booth.  I kept this one because I loved it so much and had grand intentions of turning it into a soap dispenser.  Anyone know how I can do this?  I know I could just replace the top with a average soap pump handle but part of what makes this so cool is the pump at the top.  Any ideas???

it's from 1948, I just love old treasures like this...

by the way I got this at Tuesday Morning, who would of thought?

It's great, I haven't been in Tuesday Morning yet but I love looking at their ad's lol. The only think I could think of it making so it pours out the spout but then that won't work for to long..So I know I am no help :) Great find though.

It IS a really beautiful piece and I love your idea of using it at the sink but I have no idea how to implement such a clever concept. Good luck with that. Hopefully somebody is more mechanically minded than I am.

I saw similar bottles like the one you found in Bloomingdales in Manhattan. They were being used as decor in the men's department. So neat! It would look great as a book end if you can't figure out how to use it as a soap pump.

Not sure how to convert it. But, if you use mouthwash, this might make a nice dispenser! ;-)

I had one of these from Tuesday Morning already, and when I saw your post, I combed every TM in Minneapolis and found the last two in the state. Coincidentally, someone ELSE was also calling all the local stores looking for some. :) I'm going to use them for pendant lights. Lo and behold, I'm looking through a new decorating magazine this weekend, and someone else had the same idea!

If you want to turn yours into a soap dispenser, you might need to swap out the top for a soap top pump like the ones at www.onedreamdesign.com. They require a 1inch bottle opening.
