Play Kitchen-Part 2

Ok, it's time for the reveal of the play kitchen! I am so excited about this. I hope I have a little girl one day so I can make one for her.

I found these plates and bowls at Target and the cups are from the dollar store...

the faucet is from the Restore, the "sink" is a plastic bowl from the dollar store, the burners are the lids of cookie tins (spraypainted silver)

I got the cute little spice rack on the side from Goodwill. The fabric for the skirt was on sale at Hancock Fabrics. I love how it brings the yellow and purple together.

The knobs are from Homegoods.  I never knew Homegoods even had knobs but they have some cute ones and they are $7.99/4 pack.

I took a $0.99 frame from Goodwill, spraypainted it and framed some material in it to make a dry erase board.  She can use it to write her grocery lists and such.

Shelves for extra groceries...

and of course you can't have a kitchen without food!  I was going to attempt to make some felt food but ran out of time so I bought this from Target instead.  Maybe one day I will tackle that project.

Happy Birthday Emily!!

Thank you! She loved it and I'm so glad! It's makes all the hard work worth it. Elisa, I got that fabric from Hancock fabrics a couple years ago. It was in the clearance section and it's actually outdoor fabric. I used it for pillows in my bedroom and had some leftover. It's Laurie Smith fabric, I'm not sure if they carry it anymore at Hancock, but you may be able to find some online? Good luck!

Let me get this straight....did you actually drill a hole into the top of the nightstand to install that sink/bowl? lol! Really? AMAZING!

My little boy loves his play kitchen too. His Daddy is always in the kitchen. So don't worry about the gender. xo

Love this! I am contemplating taking this on for my son's first birthday. I would love to be able to give him his own little kitchen that is original and homemade. You did a great job.

Please help me create something like this with my night stand. It is rectangular and has one door that opens to show a wire rack attached to the door and just plenty open space and the back is open. The top is recessed a bit with fake green leather I don't have any ideas. TYou, Ree
