When I came across the light at the Goodwill I was so excited. Then I saw it was only $2.99! Like most things I buy I didn't know where it would go because there was only one of them but I just knew it was too cute to pass up, and I would regret it if I didn't get it. The cashier even commented on how much she liked it. I gave it a fresh coat of spraypaint and topped it with a shade I already had from IKEA. I used to not be a big fan of gold but it's growing on me. I like the way it goes with the silver, black, and yellow in our bedroom and if I get tired of it (which I'm sure I will eventually) I can just paint it a different color!

ReplyDeleteIt's a plastic cord cover, you can buy them in the lighting section at Lowe's or Home Depot.
