As I mentioned in my last post, I get bored pretty quickly with the things in my house. It's not that I don't like them, I just need a change up every now and then. My latest "project" has been my dining room. I liked the way it was, but it just needed a little "tweaking." I think the key to a good room is an inspiration piece, something you can design a whole room around. In this case, it just happened to be a rug. I stumbled upon this rug at a large rug store during a sale and got it for a great deal. It was just the inspiration I needed to update my dining room. Another thing I did to update this room, is to paint around the pictures on the wall. I purchased the canvases from the craft store and painted some branches on them but they still didn't look right on the wall. So, I painted a white border around them, after taping it off with painters tape. I was really surprised at the difference it made and it didn't cost me anything! Here is the updated room!

Here is a picture of the wall before...
and AFTER!! (with a couple extra vines added and I changed the color of the leaves too)

Wow! That is a stunning look in your DR!
I've been reading your old posts; you are
very talented! I have not seen one thing I don't like. Had to comment on this, though as it is outstanding.
